Cloud Computing

Cloud computing at basic level is simply a mean to provide service.It is enhanced form of Service Oriented architecture.Cloud computing is a technology that uses the internet and servers to maintain data and applications.It allows user to use application without installing any server at their end.For example google is a best example of cloud computing.We are using different applications of google like search engine,google map but we are not bothered about where the server lies.It is running on some remote system and we are just able to use the application.

SOA is very much related to cloud computing.Through SOA we can create platform independent loosly coupled application which is the base for a cloud computing.One we create such an application if we publish it in the internet it can be use by any one.

It is considered to be the next happening thing.Now our client need not bother about maintaining a server they can take them in lease and can use their application i.e can build and deploy application on the server.The only issue with cloud computing is security.I don't have much knowledge on the same but it seems the biggest threat will be maintaining the security of different application and services.


There are a lot of free site where you can create an account and try to understand cloud computing practically.

It gives you a machine in internet which you can use for your own application.

There are a lot of things in cloud computing which even i am very much interested to know.
