The next line character to be used in BPEL to get the output in next line is ' '
So if you are designing your BPEL process then you can use the string "
" in your assign activity to produce a new line character.
It will look like this
Now save the changes and go to your bpel source code and you will see that the code has changed
So the trick is that in the source code just change the '
' to ' ' and you should be able to get your result in next line.

can u give one example how it works?
You can create a process with two input variable and then assign it to output variable using the next line character in between. you can observe the result in two lines. DO let me know what specific example you want
Hi Mikku,
I tried the same as u mentioned by i am not getting the output in two lines.
Hi Mikku,
I tried the same as u mentioned but its not working.
Are you getting any error?
Is it in single quote or double quote?
It is in single quotes only Mikku.. Not getting any error .. Iam getting the result as CPRID - 1223 test
Try to use this in XSLT rather than assign activity.
In XSLT go to source code and change the value.
After changing the value in XSLT source code do not go to design view.
Simply deploy the process and test.
Thanks Mikku.. It worked out.
For assignment in BPEL '
' worked for me!
